Have questions? Let’s connect.
Here are our most frequently asked questions, if you can't find what you need, email me and I'll be happy to help.

Where do classes take place?
Most sessions are held in my private home studio in Redhill, Surrey. It’s a calm, welcoming space where all equipment is provided. I can also travel to you if you’re within 8 miles, or we can connect on Zoom if you’re further away.

Do I need to bring anything?
I provide mats, props, and everything you’ll need. If you prefer to use your own mat or equipment, you’re of course very welcome to bring it along.

What style of yoga do you teach?
My teaching is rooted in traditional yoga but inspired by many styles I practice myself.
From dynamic Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Hot Yoga to slower Yin, mindful breath work, and meditation.
Each class is tailored to you and your needs.

Do you teach beginners?
Absolutely. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years, I’ll meet you where you are and guide you at your own pace.

How long are the sessions?
Private and small-group sessions are usually between 60 and 75 minutes.

What’s the maximum group size?
I keep groups small and personal - between 2 and 6 students.
This allows me to give everyone individual attention.

Can I try a class before committing?
Yes. I offer a reduced-price trial session so you can experience the practice and see if it feels right for you.

What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes you can move easily in. Leggings, shorts, or a T-shirt are all perfect. No special shoes are needed as yoga is practiced barefoot.

What happens in a Barre class?
Barre combines small, precise movements - like tiny lifts and pulses with light weights and music. It’s low-impact but highly effective, helping to build strength, improve posture, and increase mobility.

Is Barre suitable for beginners?
Yes. Barre is adaptable to all levels. I’ll guide you through each movement and offer advice and adjustments so you feel confident and supported.

Do I need an actual barre?
No! Barre classes don’t require a studio barre. All you need is a chair, a mat, and some light weights — I’ll provide everything in my home studio.

What ages are kids’ yoga classes for?
Classes are designed for children aged around 5–12, though I can adapt sessions depending on the group’s age and needs.

Do parents need to stay?
For younger children, parents are welcome to stay nearby. For older children, many parents choose to drop off and collect at the end. Either way is fine - whatever makes your child most comfortable.

What happens in a kids’ yoga class?
Kids’ sessions mix simple yoga postures with games, storytelling, partner poses, breathing exercises, and short relaxation. The focus is on fun, creativity, and mindfulness in a welcoming, supportive space.

Do children need to bring anything?
Just comfortable clothes they can move in. Mats and props are all provided.

Do you offer kids’ yoga parties?
Yes! Yoga parties are a fun, mindful way to celebrate a birthday or special occasion. Each party can be tailored to the age, group size, and interests of the children. Contact me to find out more.
